Teaching and Reteaching Classroom Expectations

As you are building student fluency in meeting classroom expectations these first six weeks of school, don't forget about Heidi Taavola being a resource to assist with this. She can come and reteach expectations specific students aren't meeting yet, or she can supervise your class, so you can do the reteaching with students. Also, this week is the last week of PLCs being set aside for parent phone calls. This doesn't mean all your phone calls need to be completed though. We committed to having the phone calls done within the first six weeks of school.  Our Leadership team on Wednesday will brainstorm suggestions on the first literacy areas of focus for grade level PLCs.
