At our meeting this Wednesday, you'll get an update on IEP meetings, small group literacy instruction and discuss Chapter 5: movement from Healthy Teachers, Happy Classrooms. Please bring your book to the meeting.
One of the areas of focus within small group literacy instruction will be the Structured Literacy Phonics Focused Lesson Plan. Jenna has created many specific phonic skills based lessons, and here is the link to the document that holds them. At the top of the document, are the two day and three day lesson plan formats, if you are developing your own phonics small group lessons. I have also included it in each of the grade level PLC planning link documents.
If needing support, Lori Head can provide coaching around using this format, and so can Jenna, although you'd have less access to her because she's at all six of our elementary schools.
