Last Round of Guided Reading Coaching

Now that we are a little over a month out from your last Jan Richardson training with Carolyn, this is a great time to connect with Paula to schedule and plan your last round of guided reading coaching. This past month, I've been able to get in and observe guided reading with about half of the teachers in the building, and I am so impressed with what I see happening in your classrooms.

- Lesson planning meeting with Paula where you decide on the area of focus that you'll want feedback from her.
- Paula observing your guided reading lesson.
- A debriefing meeting where Paula gives you feedback on the area of focus you decided on during your planning session.
* Between step one and two of the process, you can add an optional observation of Paula teaching a guided reading lesson, if that is still a need for you at this time.
