This Week

 Staff,

We have several meetings before, during and after school this week. At 8:30am this morning I have a staff appreciation gift for all staff in the media center. Those of you who can't make it, see Brie at some time this week. On Tuesday we have our PBIS Tier I meeting in the media center at 8:00am, most likely a fire drill at 9:15am and after school is the elementary staff appreciation at Willow River Carbones and also Culver's Night. During common planning times on Wednesday class placements will occur for grades K, 2-4. On Thursday 1st grade will meet for their class placement and the day will end with a building forum on health insurance. 

On Friday there's the baby shower at 8:00am, and it is also the last day to turn in books into the media center. Please have your students check out books from your classroom libraries for the remainder of the year. Media, coding and life skills classes will continue to occur in the media center, but we will begin to pack up books to get the media center ready for renovations over the summer. 

For classroom teachers whose classrooms haven't been renovated, you can start packing items (and throwing unneeded items in the dumpster off of the gym). The plan would be to move boxes into the gym on check out day Wednesday, June 3rd with all staff on hand to assist. Here is the packing video to assist you. On last thing, I have scheduled the yearbook signing for 10:15-10:30am on the playground blacktop on Friday, May 30th. There weren't any field trips or other items conflicting with this time.
