Scheduling for Next Year and Week Two of Staff Appreciation

On Tuesday, the SMART Team will be assisting with scheduling planning for 25-26 which will include the specialist schedule and the intervention blocks (two) for each grade level. A few non-negotiables for 25-26:   our two travelling specialists (Brady and Marissa) will work here Wednesday-Friday with Brady's first special starting at 1:50pm to allow him transition and set up time from the middle school. Other parameters will be intervention blocks working around the 120 min CKLA blocks for K-3 and the second occurring during a consistent social/science block staggered by grade level. Teaching and Learning has been assisting with some schedule drafts to help buildings. The why for this is to ensure the tiered layers of support for students who need them. 

Also the 25-26 schedule will work toward having second grade shift back to the last specialist block and K going earlier, two items these grade levels teams requested this year. 

Parent Group has fun events to honor staff this week. Two of these include Taqueria Los Paisanos for lunch on Tuesday, and Joe To Go on Thursday morning.
