Roofing and other updates

On Friday afternoon, I was able to talk to Dustin from Facilities and Grounds to get an update on our roof replacement. On April 6th, Central Roofing will deliver a crane and dumpsters, and on the 8th the replacement will begin from the teacher's lounge through the 4th and 5th grade wing. The crane and dumpsters will be located on the south side of the building on the playground blacktop inside a fenced in area. Please see the diagram below. From myself and Facilities and Grounds, thank you all for your flexibility this past week and the weeks to come as the roof project is completed.  In addition, next Monday or Tuesday our new playground equipment will be delivered and stored by the concession shed at Newton Field, until it can be installed late June early July. 

Starting tomorrow, we have Nicole Klopotek beginning as a special education paraprofessional working mostly out of Mrs. Talentino's program. Also last week we interviewed for our special education teacher opening for the 24-25 school year, and finalized hiring Ally Crowl. We are excited to have both women joining our EP Rock team. For the 24-25 school year, our special education certified team will consist of Ally Crowl, Sydney Hansen, Becca Reiche, Kirsten Talentino, Liz Halama, Holly Paulson and Becca Pratts.
