Welcome back after a well deserved time away. Hopefully you had the chance to rest and rejuvenate. For some fun, Dustin, Tayler and I have scheduled the second round of Ted Lasson Season One. It will be Thursday, December 9th from 5pm-8pm at my home. We will watch episodes 6-10 at this second showing. If you want to catch up before coming, you can watch episodes 1-5 on Apple TV+. If not, you can also come, and we can update you before starting episode six. I will send out an invite for people to RSVP. Pizza will be provided for people attending. 

With the start of the second trimester, this is a good time to reflect on your students' growth, as it pertains to your SLO. Illuminate can assist you with this with through the HSD Reports tile. Within this tile, under the Fountas and Pinnell heading, you will find the F&P (BAS) Classroom Overview. This report will show your students' growth from the first BAS window to the second one on November 23rd. It color codes which students exceed, meet, approaches (one level below the monthly expectation) or doesn't meet the expectation. At our PLC meetings this week, we will start with this data. It's a helpful visual when looking at students who are growing in reading and those who are not. Especially with our next progress monitoring PLC meetings happening on Tuesday, December 7th.
