EP Rock WI State Report Card and Upcoming Drills

 Staff,

On Tuesday, the WI State Report Cards for schools and districts will be released to the public. At our staff meeting, I will review the results of our report card. In the past the report cards were made up of the following priority areas:  achievement, school growth, closing gaps and on-track and postsecondary readiness. The 20-21 WI School Report Cards have changed one priority area from closing gaps to target group outcomes. This priority area is basically a mini report card for students who were lower performers, compared to their classmates, on the previous report card. Their achievement, growth and attendance are then measured from the data in the previous report card to the most recent one in 20-21. Here's additional information on report cards from WI DPI and also the report card at a glance

This week we will complete two safety drills:  lockdown and fire. We have a variance, again this year, to complete the lockdown drill portion by having students view the video (linked in our bulletin). You can have students watch the lockdown video anytime after I introduce it on the news on Thursday. Please read over the Crisis Quick Reference sheet regarding evacuate on-site (fire) and lockdown prior to Thursday. On Friday we will have a fire drill at 9:10am.
