Growth Measure on MAP

We have most of our data in from our fall MAP assessment for grades 1st through 5th. This first report is the percentage of 2nd-5th graders who made their fall 19 to fall 20 projected RIT. Staff with all the obstacles students, families and we faced since last spring, you can take a breath when seeing that our student population still achieved average growth in the area of reading (50% of students met their projected growth from fall 19 to fall 20).

Achievement Measure on MAP

Below is the percentage of students projected to score proficient or advanced on the Forward Exam ELA. This is based on our 1st-5th grade fall reading MAP.  Our long term elementary SMARTgoal (when we return to normal) is to have 70% of our students proficient and advanced on the Forward Exam. 

1st:  53%

2nd:  43%

3rd:  50%

4th:  57%

5th:  66%

1st-5th Total:  54%

Finally on Monday, there will be an update coming out from Teaching and Learning regarding small group instruction and steps we can take to minimize the opportunities for certified and support staff to become close contacts during direct instruction.
