Communication Log Changes
EP Rock Staff,
After meeting with grade level teams on Friday, there was consensus around ending the EP Rock communication log moving forward. Classroom teachers and specialists will no longer need to call each EP Rock family weekly. We are in a very good place knowing which students/families need our support. Plus with the Google Meets beginning last week, we have another avenue to connect with our students.
Please use the time previously set aside for these phone calls by supporting students/parents who have questions about assignments, responding to emails, participating in Google Meets, creating pre-recorded lessons and your lesson planning. To help us make sure we know which students/families may need extra support, please continue to pass those names onto Kelly and Alissa. We will also keep this as a standing agenda item at our grade level, specialist and SPED weekly check in meetings.
Again thank you for all your hard work. I hope many of your were able to enjoy the beautiful weather, as one way to cope with the news of not having our students back in our building this school year. Keep doing what you are doing because you are making a difference.
