Second Full Week of Online Learning

It was nice to be able to connect with a lot of you last week through SMART Team, grade level and SPED virtual meetings. This week we have our district grade level team meetings that will be conducted through google meets. On Tuesday at 1:00pm grade levels 1st, 3rd and 5th will be meeting and at 1:00pm on Thursday for grades K, 2nd and 4th. If you haven't already, I would add the google meet grid view extension to improve your virtual meeting experience.
Here's also my update from Thursday on our communication log with families. This is also something that will be part of the grade level agendas. Staff while filing out the EP communication log, if you call and leave a message or email, please put LM before the date. When you get a call back or email reply, then delete the LM. We will be using this to track families that we aren't able to connect with, and Kelly will be following up with these families. Specialist teachers, please shoot classroom teachers an email (and cc Kelly) if anything comes out of your parent phone calls that classroom teachers and/or Kelly should know about so they can follow up.
Thank you for getting out communication to families about no virtual school on Friday, April 10th and Monday, April 13th. Later this week, I will be sending out to classroom teachers a screencastify to assist them with filling out the electronic class placement forms. These will take the place of the old pink and blue sheets. Remember no office hours on your April 13th PD day, you'll use this time for creating online lesson content and filling out the electronic class placement forms.
Finally thank you for linking your lesson plans to the EP Online Lessons document, and don't forget to add Rock Star photos/videos to our google drive that Kelly sent out again last week. Keep up the great work staff, I am very proud of you all.
