Documentation Log, Forward Exam, Fourth Grade Concert, Tornado Drill and Eclipse

 Staff,

There a lot of items happening this week at Rock. One is not due yet, but will be in two weeks on Friday, April 19th. For those of you on cycle for teacher evaluation, your documentation logs are coming up. Here's a link to the components (including artifacts) that are coming due yet this year. For probationary teachers, you have three artifacts connected to specific standards (see the table in the link). Continuing teachers, you have six artifacts, one for each of the standards you are evaluated on. A reminder that your reflections for each standard should be no more than 250 words.

As I mentioned in my blog last week, our roofing repairs will begin tomorrow, weather permitting, and fifth grade will begin Forward testing on Tuesday. Makeup Forward testing is also occurring this week.

On Thursday we will run our 30 minute specials to allow for our fourth grade musical dress rehearsal at 3:10pm. On this day you will also review with your class how to sit on the floor during a severe weather emergency and where your class' location is in our building.

Finally with the weather looking cloudy in Hudson tomorrow. Here is a link to NASA streaming of the eclipse. Sara E. if you have a better site we should use, just let us know tomorrow morning. Thanks!
