Parent Phone Calls

 Staff,

A reminder that the next two weeks of grade level PLCs are set aside for making the positive phone calls home to parents. Our goal is to have all parents called before parent/teacher conferences. However through these two PLCs, hopefully the vast majority of calls will be done. For teachers who provide specialized services, please call all parents on your caseloads, and for specialists call the number of parents in an average classroom (around 22 families). Specialists please keep track on the document I shared with you earlier this week, so you can spread out the calls among families in different classrooms.  Again you can talk to them in person, or leave a message, if they do not answer. 

At the staff meeting on Wednesday, we will discuss chapter two (pages 18-26): laughter from Healthy Teachers, Happy Classrooms.  If you hadn't picked up your book, get if from Amanda and read chapter two before the meeting. Thanks!

On Tuesday, September 5th and Wednesday September 6th we will be completing the playground stations for 1st-5th and school stations (bus, bathroom and hallway) for K students.
