Assessments and SLOs

During the month of May there are the following end of year assessments. For all grade levels, students have FastBridge reading and math assessments to complete. Here are the windows for the the following grade levels:  K-1st (May 1st-26th) and 2nd-5th (May 1st-19). Most classroom teachers have their SLOs connected to student growth on the BAS assessment. This window is the same for all grade levels (May 1st-26th). Your final BAS update can be done through running records, or a formal BAS assessment, when you feel it is needed. Remember to update your students' instructional reading levels in Illuminate by the Friday, May 26th date.

Your end of year SLOs and PPG in mylearningplan are due to be submitted by Wednesday, May 31st. However you can submit earlier, if you have all your student data and reflections done. Here's a link to a planning sheet that can help you complete these two Educator Effectiveness components. They are both covered on the last page of this document.

Finally at our staff meeting on Wednesday, we will focus on our successes and celebrations this year with students, colleagues and our community. The information we generate as a building team, I will highlight at the July board meeting.
