Conference Week

 Staff,

    As you all get ready for the first round of conferences this week, I wanted to give you a few reminders. Classroom teachers this week and next, there will not be grade level PLCs, instead use this time to prepare for your conferences. The EP Rock Parent Group is providing a taco bar Thursday evening (and catering the second night of conferences) so you don't have to worry about bringing supper. Also at 8am on Thursday morning, our Parent Group will provide a book fair update prior to classrooms viewing the fair. 

    Our PBIS focus for the week is arrival/dismissal and classroom behavior. Next week we will continue to use our acknowledgment tickets with students following classroom expectations. The PBIS team brainstormed some ideas for All School Celebrations throughout the year:  Game Day, Pajama Day, Camp Day, Hat Day and Extra Recess. Please send any other ideas you have my way that we then can narrow down to three that students can vote on which celebration they want to earn first.
