First Full Week of School

Toward the end of the day on Friday, Liz Malanaphy said, "Everything I have done today has been pretty successful." This brightened my day, and as we start the first full week with students, I wish the same for you. 

This week we will begin our PLCs. Sped and 1st-5th grade teams are scheduled on Tuesdays and Kindergarten will meet on Thursdays. Every team has a little different makeup, so we will review and revise norms from last year and reflect on where your team ended the year implementing the PLC process using this PLC rubric to guide conversations. 

Certified staff, in your mailboxes this week will be a quarter sheet piece of paper to write down your five strengths from the strengthsfinder assessment. Please fill this sheet out and bring it to our staff meeting on Thursday. If you missed our welcome back certified staff meeting, please take the assessment, using the code in the back of the strengthsfinder book, prior to our meeting on Thursday.
