Happy New Year

 Staff,

There's never been a teaching year where the winter break was more needed for rest and rejuvenation. Hopefully both of these things were able to happen for you all. I so appreciated the wonderful winter weather we had after our blizzard to kick off break. As we ease back into work there is only one building meeting scheduled:  PBIS Tier I on Thursday. 

On New Year's Eve, I came across this rendition of Auld Lang Syne by Yam Haus. You may know the band has its origins in Hudson, but you may not know lead singer Lawrence Pruitt, was a Houlton Elementary student when I taught there. One of the blessing of teaching is getting to see the great things our students are capable of . . .  Let's continue to pass cups of kindness to our students, our families and each other as we kick off 2021.
