SLOS, Student Surveys and Rounding
Staff,
By the end of the day on October 31st your Professional Goal Setting Plan is due to be submitted. Teachers on cycle can schedule a meeting through Mary to review your professional goal plan. Teachers not on cycle, I will give you feedback electronically, unless you want to schedule a face to face meeting.
The next Educator Effectiveness item due after this pertains to Year 2 (probationary and continuing) teachers, and it is the Survey Growth Plan due November 30th. You'll first need to survey your students/clients then use this information to complete the survey growth plan.
This week we have our PLC meetings around our unit 1 math assessments. Please have your data into Illuminate prior to your meeting times. Check the weekly bulletin for your grade level PLC time.
I am excited to begin the rounding that Dr. Ouellette discussed at the last building forum. It was part of our admin Studer Training this summer, and I believe it is an additional way to acknowledge the work done by colleagues. Personally I think it fits nicely with how we've been highlighting staff through Rockstar recognition. In addition, it allows me to get timely feedback about what's currently working for you at EP Rock, how I can help you with your work and who has been especially helpful to you these past few weeks.
