First Week of School
EP Rock Staff:
I am looking forward to a wonderful first week of school with our students and all of our staff. There will be no staff meeting this Wednesday so you can focus solely on EP Rock students. For the remainder of the week, any staff who can help with students transitioning off the busses in the morning is appreciated. K-2 students will set their bags down by their designated spots outside of door number 17 and 3-5 graders will do the same outside of door number 16. They then will go and play until the transition bell at 8:50am.
Remember to try to work in some fun during these first few days with your students. Our PBIS focus areas for our first week of school are your classroom expectations and playground games. At the end of the day, K-2 teachers please take your students out Door #1 who are walkers or are being picked up. Also tomorrow each student who rides a bus will get a bracelet to attach to their backpack listing their name and bus route. Mary was working feverishly on Friday to get these completed. Please help get them on your student backpacks during the day on Tuesday, so we can make sure we get students on the right bus at the end of the day.
Finally, here is the link to the collective commitments we will come back to at our next staff meeting. Please read over the seven draft commitment statements so we can be ready to come to consensus on whether we can commit to these actions for the 19-20 school year.
