Gratitude and Staff Meeting

 Staff,

This week we will have our staff meeting on Tuesday in the media center. Please have the Adoption Advocate article read (with extra attention to the six Rs). Don't forget to highlight a word, phrase and sentence:  

   

                                        Also each month, Lisa Bekemeyer author of Sharing Gratitude in the Classroom, will be sharing an electronic resource for sentence stem questions you can use with your students, as well as some tools for lessons. I will be using one the tools for Aug/Sept at our staff meeting. Here's a link to Lisa's resource. 

Our PBIS focus this week is the cafeteria, please find time at the beginning or end of your students' lunch to pass out tickets for students meeting expectations. On the cafeteria wall next to the SAC office, you'll find the expectations you can reinforce in the lunchroom.  With Patriot Day on Thursday, here is a table of activities to choose from, as a way to recognize the day.
